PushRod™PushRod™GARAGE GEAR

Garage gear for people who work on their own cars.

PushRod™ is a garage-gear shop: hats, tees, sweatshirts, mugs, and decals designed for the people who'd rather be turning a wrench than watching somebody else do it.

Where PushRod comes from

I'm Bill Morton, from Des Moines, Iowa. My dad was an old-school mechanic, and when I was in high school, he and I restored a 1968 Mustang GT together. He taught me to diagnose a car by sound and feel — no electronics, just listening to what the machine was telling you.

Decades later, I spent two years restoring a 1969 Chevelle SS with one of my own sons — the Mustang story coming full circle. That's the world PushRod comes out of, and it's why the designs carry the names they do: Big Block, Four Speed, Quarter Mile, Torque Monster. That's the language the garage actually speaks.

PushRod is part of a family business, and everything in the shop is printed when you order it. If you run a shop or a travel center and want PushRod on your shelves, we wholesale too — here's how the wholesale program works.

Four doors, one shop

The catalog hangs on four doors. Motorcycle is our own air-cooled shop line. Muscle Car covers the big-cube American iron. RestoMod is the modern-performance side of the same cars. Truck is for the classic-truck crowd. Pick a door on the shop page and the racks filter to that line.

Printed when you order it

PushRod gear isn't sitting in a warehouse. When you check out, your order goes to our print partner, who prints it and ships it to you. That's how one shop can carry hundreds of designs across hats, tees, sweatshirts, mugs, and decals without a back room full of boxes.

Part of a family of brands

PushRod is the merch shop in a small family of stores run by the same operator: RestorationEssentials publishes restoration guides for muscle cars and classic trucks, and IronHead does the same for vintage motorcycles. The gear lives here; the guides live there; the garage is the same.
